The kannada-language action thriller “kantara” (2022) features dual characters portrayed by Rishab Shetty, Who both wrote and directed this

Visually striking Kannada period film set in 1847 and 1990. The production company Hombale Films guided the story, which follows three different timelines from 1847 to 1970 to 1990 and presents them to audiences while showing the Keradi forest in coastal Karnataka.

The sacred bond that a king struck with forest guardians Panjurli and Guliga in 1847 leads to a violent territorial dispute thousands of years forward. The core of this fight centers on Shiva as he challenges Murali (Kishore), the forest officer for the tribal land that the government has designated for its acquisition.
