Format of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025
In this 18th season of the IPL, there are 10 teams and they are divided into 2 groups. Each team will play twice with their opposite team. After the group stage, the top four teams that are based on high points will move on to the playoffs. Now in the playoffs, the top two teams will play a match that is called “Qualifier 1” match. While the other two teams play an eliminator match.The winner of qualifier 1 goes to the final stage and the losing teams play again with the winner of eliminator teams and the match is called “Qualifier 2.” After that, the winner of qualifier 2 goes to the final round.
